Millaquin Mill, Bundaberg | $105,000–$115,000 annual earning potential + super

Join Bundaberg Sugar’s Maintenance Team and help keep our sugar mill operating safely and reliably.

These positions are primarily day work, 7.00 am–3.30 pm, with shift work required at times.

What we offer

• $100,000–$115,000 annual earning potential, including overtime and applicable allowances, depending on classification and hours worked.
• Five weeks’ paid leave, with 25% loading on four weeks.
• Thirteen weeks’ long service leave after ten years, with proportional access after seven years.
• Rostered days off in accordance with applicable work arrangements.
• Weekly tool allowance of $38.26 and mechanical trade allowance of $40, included in the earning potential above.

The role

• Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and capital works.
• Maintain mills, boilers, turbines, fugals, conveyors, pumps and gearboxes.
• Undertake fitting, welding and hydraulic work.
• Record maintenance activities in our computerised maintenance management system.
• Work safely alongside maintenance and production teams.

About you

• Relevant Fitting and Turning trade qualification.
• Experience in general fitting, basic welding, TIG welding, steam turbine maintenance and repairs.
• Strong fault-finding skills and commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Manufacturing or sugar industry experience highly regarded.
