Fitter & Turner

We’re currently seeking a casual Fitter and Turner to play a key role in Manufacturing and assembling our innovative HMPS products. In this role, you’ll be responsible for general fitting and machining duties to create our exceptional machinery, execute modifications to existing customer machines and assist with installation and commissioning.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, negotiated based on your skills, qualifications, and experience, plus superannuation and applicable penalty rates.

What You’ll Do:

• Take charge of assembly tasks across mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Show independence in your duties, problem-solving with initiative while keeping your manager updated when needed.
• Work collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals committed to quality and innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade Qualification – Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Skill and Precision – Strong experience in mechanical and pneumatic assembly including the use of hand and fixed power tools.
• Team Collaboration – A friendly team player who values clear communication.
• Dedication to Quality – A commitment to seeing each project through to success.
• Experience Advantage – Previous experience in machinery manufacturing is a bonus.
• Technical Expertise – Proficiency in reading and applying engineering drawings.
• Safety First – Adherence to all safety standards and practices.
