Cobram Estate Olives (CBO) are looking for fitters (qualified and unqualified) to join our team in Mildura. Whether you’re a qualified tradesperson or a 3rd/4th year apprentice ready to take the next step, we’d love to hear from you. This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll be working closely with experienced trades and engineers, commissioning, modifying and maintaining our fleet of innovative harvesters

The Role
The role will be based in Mildura, Victoria, responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following activities:

• Interpret technical drawings to guide fabrication and commissioning.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components for harvesters and farm machinery.
• Upgrade and commission new equipment in line with OH&S standards.
• Perform functional testing on new or modified harvesters.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and OH&S standards.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience with machinery. 
• Qualification in a trade, preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience in commissioning agricultural machinery or heavy equipment, preferred but not essential.
• A self-starter with the ability to take initiative, work efficiently and without supervision
