FIFO Welder / Pipe Fitter
Location: FIFO from Perth, Western Australia
Rate: $55 - $65 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Welders / Pipe Fitters for FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) positions from Perth to various sites across Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects in the mining, construction, and heavy industry sectors, offering competitive rates and excellent team support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and pipe fitting tasks to high standards, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct inspections to ensure joints, fittings, and welds are secure and compliant with safety standards.
- Work effectively in collaboration with other trades to meet project goals.
- Ensure all work adheres to site-specific safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Welder or Pipe Fitter.
- Proven experience working in mining, construction, or heavy industry environments.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (TIG, MIG, stick, etc.) and pipe fitting processes.
- Ability to work in a FIFO roster environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following OH&S procedures.
