We are currently seeking a talented professional to join us in the position of Maintenance Plumber & Gas Fitter at our ISS site in regional Western Australia, to be employed on a full-time basis.


Reporting to the Key Account Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of water supply, drainage, gas and heating/cooling systems across two large educational sites. Undertaking completion of both Statutory & Non-Statutory planned preventative maintenance tasks and Reactive tasks.


This role is also responsible for ensuring all current and future works comply with Australian Standards 3500 & all other relevant state regulations, legislations & requirements.


Requirements:



  • WA Plumbing Contractor license Issued by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety- for classes Water supply & Sanitary & Drainage Plumbing

  • Plumbing Tradesperson license issued by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety

  • Backflow Prevention Ticket desirable but not required.


It will be important to note down that positions are available for applicants holding a Plumbing Contractor license as well as positions available for applicants holding a Plumbing Tradesperson license.


Minimum Criteria:



  •  Advanced Plumber – Workers Registration - CBS

  •  Gas Fitting – Workers Registration – CBS

  •  Backflow & TMV endorsed / licensed

  •  Restricted Electrical workers Registration desirable but not required

  •  Minimum 3 years experience in Plumbing & Gas Fitting industry

  •  Sound knowledge & Awareness to AS3500 & local regulations

  •  Experience in Facilities Management settings desirable.

  •  Strong sense of team and passion to develop others as well as self.

  •  Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome for all stakeholders.

  •  Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative and commitment, with the capacity to deal with multiple priorities.

  •  An ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, subcontractors, senior management and Client representatives.

  •  Ability to work unsupervised to a schedule
