About Our Client
Our client is an established mining services contractor delivering electrical maintenance and project solutions across multiple fixed plant operations in Kalgoorlie. Due to continued growth and the recent award of several major projects, they are expanding their team and are seeking additional Fixed Plant Electricians.
Whether you're an experienced FIFO electrician or looking to transition into mining, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career. If you have a commercial, construction or industrial background and are looking to make the move into mining, we'd love to hear from you. Fixed plant experience is highly regarded but not essential.
About the Role
Join a high-performing maintenance team working across fixed plant operations in a hands-on, varied role. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key part in keeping plant equipment running safely and efficiently while contributing to a strong team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on fixed plant electrical equipment
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across processing plant
- Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled component replacements
- Collaborate with the Electrical Supervisor and maintenance team to ensure efficient plant performance
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements
What You’ll Need to Succeed - WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Electrical Trade Certificate
- C Class or HR WA Licence
- Current CPR / LVR Ticket
- White Card
- High Voltage Switching (desirable)
- National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements
- FIFO from Perth only. Applicants must currently reside in Western Australia.
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
