The Opportunity:


An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced trade qualified Electrician to join our Resources Maintenance Team on a full-time 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth Airport to our site in regional Western Australia.


The successful candidate should be ambitious, enjoy a challenge and have a strong electrical trade background including experience with the operation of facilities maintenance services for infrastructure at remote mine site locations.


What we are looking for:



  • Current electrical trade qualification for the Western Australia working environment.

  • Current WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence

  • Current C Class Driver's Licence

  • Previous experience providing maintenance services in a remote mining village environment is desirable.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Sound documentation and computer skills, experience using works management systems via mobile devices.

  • Ability to do minor refrigeration maintenance repairs (highly regarded).

  • Forklift operator’s licence (desired).

  • Able to work a flexible FIFO roster from Perth Airport.

  • Police Clearance or willing to obtain one and medically fit to pass pre-employment medical.

  • COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination is required. As a service provider, ISS must comply with all public health directives and client requirements. Medical exemptions will apply.

Role Details:



  • Responsible for maintaining remote village accommodation units, village dining and kitchen facilities, and ancillary buildings including wet mess, gym, retail outlets.

  • Repair and maintenance of single phase and 3 phase power, general lighting and power supply.

  • Statutory testing and tagging of electrical appliances, both single phase and 3 phase.

  • Responsible for all electrical and statutory compliance on non-process infrastructure.

  • Perform and manage preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs on electrical infrastructure.

  • Investigation of electrical failures, analysis and recommendation for rectification.

  • Undertake new minor electrical installations.

  • Attend to urgent requests at site outside of normal working hours.

  • Responsibility for maintaining appropriate stock levels of parts and equipment to ensure the smooth supply to the electrical department.

  • On-call requirements.

  • Assisting all trades (refrigeration, plumbing, general building).
