ESS Defence have exciting opportunities for experienced and enthusiastic Chefs and Head Chefs! We are currently looking for qualified and experienced Chefs to join our team in the Wagga Wagga region (NSW).

The Person:

• Seeking Line Chefs and Head Chefs!
• Qualified Chef – Certificate III or above in Commercial Cookery
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in high volume bulk cooking
• HACCP Food handling experience
• Must have a broad knowledge of food allergens and allergen safety.
• Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
• Attention to detail, fantastic food presentation and strong organisational skills.

The Position:

• Preparing buffet style bulk cooking for a variety of services – breakfast, lunch, dinner and functions
• Ensure all OH&S and HACCAP compliance is achieved.
• Follow all catering controls in place with a keen focus on reducing wastage
• Ensuring outstanding service is provided to the customer
