You don’t need previous FIFO experience – but bulk cooking experience, the ability to work independently, and strong time management skills are essential.

The Role
Breakfast & Pastry Experience
Buffet style bulk cooking experience
Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room attendants
Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to the minimum
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
The Person
Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
Bulk Catering Experience
Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines
Able to pass Pre-Employment Medicals
National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
