About the Role 


This position will be responsible for providing high levels of service and ongoing post placement support to our Apprentices and Trainees. The role will also involve developing effective relationships with apprentices, host employers, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), schools and other stakeholders. 


We will of course provide you with everything you need to do your job successfully including a vehicle, laptop and mobile phone. Being out on the road visiting host employers and apprentices/trainees will be part of your everyday so if you're a true people person and you enjoy connecting and engaging with local business and apprentices then this is a fantastic opportunity! Other duties will include: 



  • Building and managing a caseload of apprentices and trainees 

  • Establishing networks with key industry groups, local businesses, state and local government organisations, schools, job networks and RTO providers 

  • Contributing to the establishment of procedures, processes and activities that ensure the efficient operation of field services in the GTO 

  • Completing all documentation relating to host business vacancies, requesting quotes, contracts etc 

  • Performance Management of apprentices and trainees 


About you 


Our successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar role and/or have an understanding of a Group Training Organisation (GTO) and come with account management and strong relationship building skills. 


You will also have proven experience in providing exceptional customer service and bring confidence to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Coming from an Employment Services, Labour Hire, Human Resources, trade, sales or similar environment would also be preferable but not essential. 


You will also bring: 



  • A business mindset and a customer service focus 

  • Confident communication skills and the ability to change your communication style to suit your audience 

  • Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisation skills  

  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn and willingness to adapt 

  • Strong administrative, compliance capabilities and IT skills 


Additional requirements: 



  • Right to Work in Australia i.e. Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or visa with permanent work rights  

  • A current Working with Children Check/Blue Card or the willingness to gain one prior to successful commencement  

  • A current and valid Driver’s Licence  

  • Willingness to undertake a "Fit2Work" Police Check
