Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking highly motivated Senior Field Mechanical / Piping Engineers to join our Perth team.


 


Hatch has recently completed the engineering and design for significant portions of an iron ore project located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. A field engineering team is being mobilized to provide engineering support to construction which is being managed by the Client. The field engineering team will be site based and will be required to perform this work on a FIFO basis.


 


As the successful candidate, you will:



  • Provide engineering support to the Client’s construction management team for the construction phase of the project.

  • Maintain a strong health and safety focus within the field engineering team

  • As applicable, assist with constructability input and construction sequencing

  • Manage and where possible respond to field information requests and site design change requests (TQ/RFI, ECN, SI) through clear written/oral communication


 


You will bring to the role:



  • BSc/B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • Field engineering experience

  • Strong technical background in the piping and/or mechanical engineering discipline

  • Experience working on large or complex projects in a multidisciplinary environment
