Factory Hand / Production Labourer

Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Factory Hand / Labourer for our client based in Landsdale who are a national manufacturer of high-quality ground support products for the underground mining industry. Due to continued growth and increased production demands, they are looking to expand their team with a long-term ongoing opportunity available immediately.

Details:

• Landsdale location
• Long-term ongoing opportunity
• Rotating roster (1 week day shift / 1 week afternoon shift)
• Day Shift: $32.00/hr + Super + Penalties
• Afternoon Shift: $36.80/hr + Super + Penalties

Shift Times:

• Day Shift: Mon – Thurs, 5:00am – 1:30pm | Fri, 5:00am – 11:00am
• Afternoon Shift: Mon – Fri, 2:00pm – 10:30pm

Job Duties Include:

• Operating machinery used to manufacture frictional bolts and drilling equipment
• Basic welding using semi-automatic welding machines
• Using hand and power tools to assist with assembly and production tasks
• General factory and labouring duties within the workshop
• Forklift operation where licensed

What do you require to be successful in this position?

• Previous factory, labouring or manufacturing experience
• Current Driver’s Licence + reliable transport
• Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol assessment
• Forklift ticket advantageous but not essential
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
