UGLhave an opportunity for experienced Fabric Maintenance Technicians (Offshore Blaster / Painters) to join our team on the FPSO Montara unit located in the Timor Sea.

The Montara Venture FPSO facility is run by Jadestone Energy Australia, and is located 690km west of Darwin and 630km north of Broome in the Timor Sea. The project comprises the Montara field, as well as the Skua, Swift and Swallow fields.

The development includes an unmanned four-legged well-head platform and a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel with 750,000 barrels of storage. Production commenced in June 2013.

About the role\: 

·       12 Hour Days

·       Paid travel to FPSO Montara

·       Perth or Darwin point of hire

 Mandatory requirements\: 

·       Trade qualified Industrial Painter

·       MSIC

·       BOSIET/FOET & CAEBS

·       Confined Space

·       Working at heights

·       IRATA Rope Access - minimum Level 1 with >500hrs or held for at least 6 months with ongoing works off ropes

·       Offshore experience in\: Abrasive Blasting & Painting from decks and off ropes

Desirable requirements:

·       Ultra high pressure water jetting system operator (MSMSS00018 - Highly desired)/

·       UHP Assistant Operator (MSMSS00017)

·       STOPAQ Application

·       Humidur Training

·       AMPP Certifications (formerly NACE)
