Trafman Solutions is a well-established traffic management and Equipment Hire business providing end-to-end traffic solutions to the Construction, Civil and Event Management industries in Victoria and Queensland. Core operations include, Equipment Hire & Small Tools, traffic management plans, and a large understanding of traffic signals, variable message boards, line marking and safety barriers for projects of all sizes.
We’re looking for traffic controllers, ideally with 3+ years of experience to interview immediately and lead some of our most high-profile projects.
The roles are based out of our Campbellfield office, and you’ll work across land subdivision and major civil infrastructure projects that are based across all regions of Melbourne. Reporting to the Traffic Operations Manager, you must be self-motivated and be able to work autonomously.
THE ROLE
The main responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
- Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures
- Monitor traffic behavior and or flow to ensure safety is always maintained
- Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
- Control traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public
ABOUT YOU
- Relevant traffic control tickets: RIIWHS205D & RIIWHS302D
- Be open to learning and developing skills
- Ideally a manual driver’s license
- White Card – Construction Industry
- Ideally 3 or more years traffic experience
- Sound knowledge of WHS
- Strong work ethic, reliable, and possess team player values
- Demonstrate safety leadership and collaboration in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members
- Be outcomes focused and have the ability plan and keep organised
