About the role

The role of Estimator is to assist the Commercial team to achieve the company vision and successfully implement our strategy to be the trade’s most valuable partner.

The Branch Estimator will develop strong relationships with the entire Reece team and customers to create a great customer experience, to assist in creating customers for life.

What can you expect?

• Understand your clients to sell the value of Customised Customer Service in order to become the primary supplier

• Develop strong rapport and working relationships with key staff within your clients’ businesses

• Promote Reece directional products, specifically Value-Added Products (VAP) to clients in order to maximise sales and gross margin opportunity

• Develop quotations and product selections in order to meet each client’s brief based on purpose, style, quality and budget

• Maintain accurate and timely records of customer sales activity in Salesforce (CRM)

• Utilise fully the project tracking, builder tracking and architectural tracking to determine and track opportunities

• Provide tender information to the sales team and liaise with Product Managers on tender bids

• Coordinate externally sourced stock purchasing and accurately input details into the system

Skills and Experience

• People skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, colleagues and customers

• Strong interpersonal skills - to establish a productive working relationship with all staff and customers

• Good understanding of pricing pillars & STRW techniques

• Sales or Estimating background experience

• Desirable plumbing industry knowledge

• Proficient with Microsoft Windows programs including, Word, Outlook and Excel
