In line with our focus on supporting internal mobility and career opportunities, we are inviting expressions of interest for the upcoming Defence project at HMAS Stirling ahead of external recruitment.

We’re currently seeking interest in the following roles:

• Boilermaker/Welders
• Blaster Painters

Project details:

• Location: Garden Island (WA)
• Project Anticipated Start: End of May
• Project Duration: 3 - 4 months
• Roster: Monday to Friday (10-hour days) + Saturday half day
• Security, Police Check and Citizenships requirements apply

This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting major project with the benefit of being home every night, an especially good (convenient) opportunity for anyone based South of the River (SOR).

If you wish to express interest, we encourage you to do so promptly, as mobilisation planning is commencing shortly. EOIs will continue to be accepted beyond the initial mobilisation period, but early submissions will ensure you are considered for the first intake.

Where an EOI results in a candidate being considered suitable, we will liaise with your current home business unit to confirm an appropriate transfer plan.

Due to the nature of this project being located on a Defence site, eligibility includes meeting all security, police check, and citizenship obligations.
