Engineering Fabrication Apprenticeship

Based in Yackandandah in the North East of Victoria an opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Fabrication Apprenticeship with a local business that has been established and successful for over 30 years as an independent Australian owned company. 

Our client, a highly respected locally owned Engineering company who specialize in welding fabrication, is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working, self-motivated, and most importantly, passionate individual to commence an Apprenticeship.

The Role

The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of welding fabrication including:

• Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
•    Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures.
• Collaborate with experienced tradespeople in a supportive environment.
• Following company safety procedure's

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards Certificate III Engineering Welding Fabrication which will see you employed directly by Kestrel by up to 4 year's.

Requirement

• Current Driver’s Licence would be an advantage
• A genuine interest in welding, fabrication.
• A positive can do attitude
• 100% commitment to undertaking this 4 year apprenticeship
• Prepared to work in a team environment
• Physically fit
• Honest and reliable
