We currently have positions available for Electricians, Refrigeration & Airconditioning Mechanics, and Mechanical Engineering Technicians.

Refrigeration & Airconditioning Mechanics

  • HVAC Expertise:
    Install, commission, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems across commercial and industrial sites.
  • Fault Diagnosis:
    Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC-R systems.
  • Refrigerant Handling:
    Safely manage refrigerants in compliance with ARCtick requirements.
  • Preventative Maintenance:
    Perform inspections, tests, and scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and optimise performance.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    Complete service reports, quotations, and compliance documents accurately and on time.
  • Apprentice Support:
    Supervise and guide apprentices, ensuring safe, structured training and engagement.
  • Quality Workmanship:
    Deliver precision and high standards of work across all installation and servicing tasks.
  • Flexibility:
    Be available for overtime and travel where required to meet customer and project needs.

Mechanical Engineering Technicians

  • Mechanical Expertise:
    Assist with installing, diagnosing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • System Testing & Troubleshooting:
    Conduct inspections, tests, and data collection to support performance optimisation.
  • Hydraulic & Auxiliary Systems:
    Install and troubleshoot auxiliary mechanical or hydraulic systems in compliance with standards.
  • Documentation Compliance:
    Maintain detailed installation records, service logs, and reports.
  • Preventative Maintenance:
    Plan and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
  • Supervision & Training:
    Support and mentor apprentices and junior staff, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
  • Tool & Equipment Use:
    Select and use appropriate tools and equipment, estimating parts and materials as required.
  • Flexibility & Travel:
    Work flexibly to meet project requirements, including overtime and travel when needed.
  • Continuous Learning:
    Stay updated with technological advancements and industry best practices.

Electricians (341111)

  • Electrical Systems Installation:
    Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and components across construction and industrial machinery.
  • Wiring & Fault-Finding:
    Carry out electrical wiring, testing, and troubleshooting in compliance with Australian standards.
  • Preventative Maintenance:
    Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance of electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Breakdown Response:
    Respond to electrical system failures promptly, minimising downtime and risk.
  • System Integration:
    Work with mechanical technicians and refrigeration mechanics to integrate systems seamlessly.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Adhere to all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and workplace compliance standards.
  • Documentation & Records:
    Maintain clear and accurate documentation of electrical works, including compliance certification.
  • Diagnostic Tools:
    Use electrical testing instruments and schematics to identify faults and ensure accurate repairs.
  • Quality & Safety:
    Deliver professional workmanship while maintaining safety-first practices at all times.

Qualifications (All Applicants)

  • Relevant trade certification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Current White Card and valid Drivers Licence.
  • Licensing/registration specific to the role (e.g. ARCtick licence, Electrical A-Grade Licence).

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
  • Preferred experience with hydraulics and mechanical systems, including hose and fittings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent fault-finding abilities.
  • Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, record-keeping, and teamwork skills.
