Seeking Qualified Electricians for work across remote WA Mine sites.
This is a great opportunity to join our FIFO team working at the Western Ranges (RIO) project in the Pilbara Region of WA on a FIFO 3 & 1 roster. We will fly from major cities around Australia.
Our client: Is an Australian-owned, integrated, multidisciplinary heavy engineering and construction services provider to the energy, resources, infrastructure, marine, and defence sectors.
Job Details
- When: ASAP - Minimum 4 months duration
- Where: Western Ranges, Paraburdoo WA
- Roster: 3:1
- Rates: Fantastic rates + Site Allowances + Project Completion
- Nightshift uplift of 20%
The Role
- Cable tray / ladder / conduit installation and cable terminations
- Installation of devices and instruments and other electrical components
- Perform other general duties as required.
- Ensure safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Interpret drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of piping, equipment, and systems.
- Test assembled structures and equipment and perform relevant checks to ensure quality and integrity. Using testing equipment, visual inspections, and pressure tests.
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with other team members, including welders, plumbers, or pipefitters
About You
- 2+ years of Site and Industrial experience as an Electrician or comparative experience.
- Previous construction experience within the mining and resources sector
Requirements
- Nationally Recognised Trade Certificate - Electrical
- West Australian Recognised Electrical license
- Construction Induction Card
- Driver's License
- National Police Clearance (12 months)
- Basic Fire Ticket / Fire Extinguisher
- RIO Tinto Inductions - Highly Regarded
- Provide First Aid, Provide CPR – Highly Regarded
A pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test will be required for this role.
