The Opportunity

ARRA Group is seeking motivated 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentices to join a major Wharf Upgrade Project at Garden Island. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a long-term infrastructure project with potential ongoing work for 6-10 years.

Project Details

• Location: Garden Island, Rockingham WA
• Hours: 6:00am – 5:00pm (11-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break)
• Roster: Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work
• Duration: Long-term project with ongoing opportunities
• Start Date: June 2026

Key Duties

• Assist with the installation, maintenance and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
• Work alongside qualified electricians on commercial and infrastructure projects.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Complete apprenticeship training requirements and workplace documentation.
• Contribute effectively as part of a project team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Currently reside in Perth, Western Australia.
• Be a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice working towards a Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
• Hold a current WA Driver's Licence.
• Hold a current White Card.
• Provide a recent National Police Clearance (issued within the last 30 days).
• Be able to successfully obtain Defence Clearance.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Screen.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
