The Role
 
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services across service calls, minor works, and structured projects. Reporting to the General Manager for SA & NT, you will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations: Execute installation, testing, and commissioning to AS/NZS 3000 standards and complete all necessary compliance documentation.
  • Project Execution: Interpret drawings and specifications to complete jobs and inspections per company procedures.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance to apprentices and trade assistants, modeling safe and efficient work practices.
  • Safety & Risk: Participate in risk assessments (JHAs/SWMS) and report hazards or near-misses promptly.
  • Financial Mindset: Support accurate job costing, manage material budgets, and minimise waste/rework
What You Bring
 
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Relevant Trade Qualification (e.g., Cert 3 Electrotechnology).
  • Current Electrical Workers Licence.
  • White Card (General Construction Induction Training).
  • Current Driver's License
  • Evidence of the right to work in Australia.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Experience executing works under permits (e.g., confined spaces, working at heights).
  • Solid judgment, problem-solving skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
  • General computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, SharePoint 365)
