Full Job Description
Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand for a well-established electrical contractor delivering multiple large-scale townhouse developments in the Caboolture region.

With approximately 2.5 years of secured work across several developments, this is an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking to step into or continue a leadership role while securing long-term project stability.
  
About the Role
You will play a key role in coordinating and leading electrical works across multiple townhouse developments, including:

• Two developments of 68 townhouses
• Two developments of 48 townhouses
• Stage 1 currently underway, with multiple stages to follow

• Leading and coordinating small teams of electricians and apprentices
• Planning and overseeing daily site activities
• Underground and in-ground electrical installations
• Rough-in, fit-off, and final commissioning works
• Reading plans and ensuring works are completed to specification
• Maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards on site
• Liaising with supervisors, builders, and project stakeholders
• Mentoring apprentices and supporting team development

• Current QLD Electrical License
• Previous Leading Hand experience preferred
• Residential construction experience (highly regarded)
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Current Driver's License
• White Card
• CPR & LVR
• Additional Tickets - EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights

• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Permanent package equivalent to $55/hr + company vehicle
