Full Job Description
Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand on behalf of a well-established Brisbane electrical contractor specializing in high-end multi-residential, commercial and industrial projects. 
 
The company delivers projects across power, lighting, data, communications, CCTV and access control systems throughout SEQ.

About the Role

• Lead & supervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors
• Coordinate daily site activities, materials and project requirements
• Remain hands-on with electrical installations and project delivery
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates
• Conduct site pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, SWMS and company procedures
• Mentor apprentices and support the development of team members

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Leading Hand or Senior Electrician
• Strong commercial or multi-residential construction experience
• Ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of electrical standards, safety, and quality requirements
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines

Requirements

• QLD Electrical Licence
• Current CPR & LVR
• Construction White Card
• EWP Licence
• Manual Driver's Licence
