Electrician - Garden Island

I'm looking for 2 experienced Electricians to join a short-term maintenance project on a naval vessel at Garden Island, Sydney. This is a 2-week night shift contract, ideal for an electrician who enjoys marine and defence work and is available from 12 October.
 
What's on offer:

• $84.50 per hour + penalties
• 2-week contract starting 12 October
• Night shift only: 5pm to 1.30am (8-hour shift)
• Hands-on work on a naval vessel

Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance on the vessel's electrical infrastructure
• Service and maintain switchboards and distribution boards
• Inspect, test, and repair power and lighting circuits
• Maintain and repair motors, starters, and control panels
• Fault-find and rectify electrical issues
• Install and terminate cabling, cable tray, and associated equipment
• Test and tag equipment and record results
• Complete permits, isolations, and paperwork to site requirements
• Follow all defence site and vessel safety procedures

Licences/Experience Required:

• Current NSW electrical licence (trade qualified)
• White Card
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space
• Previous marine, defence, or heavy industrial experience highly regarded
• Ability to obtain Garden Island base access
