If you’re the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork, we have several opportunities for  Electricians to join our Building Maintenance team, working a Fly-In-Fly-Out roster or Drive in Drive out roster across the Bowen Basin QLD remote sites. Ideally employing out of the Mackay and surrounding or FIFO from Brisbane only.  Applicants not residing in Brisbane or the Mackay and surrounds will not be considered.  Only Australian citizens will be considered for this role

Who are we looking for?   We’d love to hear from you if you’ve had previous experience in building maintenance across the domestic and commercial sectors. Our Electricians are team players, have a can-do attitude, are flexible and always remain focused on safety and service delivery. To be successful, you’ll need:    

• Unrestricted Electrical Licence 

• Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights   

• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check   

• Manual Drivers Licence   

• High-Risk Licence (EWP)   

• Working at heights (within two years)   

• Confined spaces (within two years)   

• Current LVR/CPR 

We are looking for driven and self-motivated Electricians to conduct maintenance and preventive works across residential, village and mine site facilities.   You will be working across reactive and preventative maintenance, diagnosing, repairing and installing commercial, domestic and industrial systems.  You will have a solid understanding of electrical standards. 

Working on-site with our teams means you’ll be working 11 hours per day on a 2:1 roster (two weeks at work and one week at home), often in extreme environments. So having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day!
