Our Wangara branch has a new opening for an experience Electrician to join the ContiTech team. This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional Saturday work and overnight site travel required.

ABOUT OUR ROLES:


With multiple projects across WA for you to be a part of, you'll be responsible for:


  • Carrying out general electrical duties for workshop and site equipment
  • Maintain compliance with safety efficiency and statutory standards
  • Identification of electrical faults
  • Carry out general electrical tagging of equipment
  • Maintenance of vulcanizers, belt winches, hand tools and general workshop maintenance.
  • Shutdowns and belt change outs.

ABOUT YOU:


  • Experienced trade qualified electrician with a minimum of 3 years post trade experience
  • Experience working in a mining or heavy industry environment desirable
  • Exposure to conveyor belts and conveyor equipment advantageous
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • an absolute commitment to safety and safe work practices.
  • High risk license, working at heights and confined spaces tickets required
  • valid Drivers License - HR license is desirable
  • ability to fulfill the inherent physical tasks required of this job - which will include repetitive lifting of weights up to 25kgs and working in hot climates.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Electrical trade qualification
  • Working at Heights training.
  • EWP, Dogging and Rigging License.
