Engineering Trades Australia is sourcing an experienced Electrician for ongoing service and maintenance work on naval and maritime vessels. Think of it as a large hotel crossed with a heavy industrial site. You'll be working across all electrical systems onboard, keeping critical equipment operational.

What you'll be doing
  • Service, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of vessel electrical systems
  • Switchboards, distribution boards, power and lighting
  • Generators and winch equipment
  • Fire detection and alarm systems
What you'll need
  • Current electrical licence (A-grade)
  • Confined Space entry ticket
  • EWP licence
  • High Risk Work Licence
  • Australian citizen (defence site — non-negotiable)
  • Ability to pass a police and security check
Advantageous
  • Marine or naval vessel experience
  • Existing defence clearance
  • Additional high risk tickets (IRATA, rigging, dogging, etc.)
