Your experience working on fixed plant and equipment in the food manufacturing industry is advantageous.  This role will require your proven background in preventative and breakdown maintenance, combined with good troubleshooting skills and the ability to work autonomously will be highly regarded.

You must have the ability to be able to establish a rapport with management within the business and building ongoing relationships will be an essential part of this role.

We are looking for applicants who are available to work on a 12 hour rotating shift.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Interpret electrical diagrams. 
• Liaise with maintenance and production personnel. 
• Use SAP as the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) 
• Assemble and install electrical distribution and control equipment. 
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on plant and equipment. 
• Test, replace and calibrate sensors and instrumentation 
• Install and setup variable speed drives. 
• Use PLC programs to diagnose faults. 
• Assist in the training of others. 
• Understanding of all site policies, including Occupational Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Quality and Code of Conduct 
• Follow and adhere to Procedures and Work Instructions 
• Work a 12 Hour Shift Rotating Roster 
• Observe Good Housekeeping practices / 5S practices 

Requirements:

• Victorian A class electrician
• Current First Aid Level 1 

Preferred:

• Industrial Electrical experience 
• High Voltage Switching. 
• Allen Bradley PLC qualifications and experience 
• Operate Elevated Work Platforms (Scissor Lift, etc) 
• Continuous process manufacturing experience. 
• Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Food Manufacturing Experience 
• SAP experience
