As we continue to grow our underground operations, we are seeking experienced Electricians and Leading Hand Electricians to join our teams at the Cowal and Northparkes underground mining projects in New South Wales.

Current Opportunities

Underground Electricians

Roster: 14 Days On / 14 Days Off

As an Underground Electrician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting underground mobile and fixed plant electrical systems while ensuring safe and reliable site operations.

Leading Hand Electricians

Roster: 8 Days On / 6 Days Off

As a Leading Hand Electrician, you will provide frontline leadership to the electrical team, coordinating daily activities, mentoring tradespeople, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Electricians

• Maintenance, fault finding and repair of underground mining equipment
• Installation and commissioning of electrical systems
• Preventative maintenance inspections and reporting
• Ensuring compliance with site safety standards and statutory requirements
• Working collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams

Leading Hand Electricians

• Lead and coordinate electrical crews on site
• Plan and allocate daily maintenance activities
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and production targets
• Liaise with supervisors and site stakeholders to optimise performance

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• NSW Electrical Licence
• Previous underground mining experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to safety and teamwork
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
• Current driver's licence

Preferred

• Experience with underground mobile equipment and fixed plant
• Working at Heights, Confined Space and First Aid certifications
• Supervisory experience (Leading Hand positions)
• Mining-specific electrical qualifications and competencies
