Electrician

Skilltech, a division of the Downer Group, is one of Australia's largest providers of metering services. We provide over 50 million meter readings and associated services for water, electricity and gas meters for government, utilities and corporations across Australia each year.

An opportunity has become available for Electricians (Full time Employees) to join our team in the Perth Metro and greater regional areas.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Electricians to join Downer’s customer focused Meter Exchange team. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and repair and/or removal of metering equipment.  You can work independently, with no weekend work, and the opportunity for advancement within one of Australia’s largest employers. 

About You

• Hold a current WA unrestricted Electrical License 
• Hold a current White Card 
• Hold a current valid Driver’s License 
• Safety focused with an elevated level of attention to detail  
• Exceptional time management abilities
• An Employee Assistance Program provided
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in most weather conditions
• CPR & First Aid Certificates (not essential – we can update you if required)
