Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Electricians for an ongoing opportunity based in Newman, WA.
This is a great opportunity for qualified Electricians looking for a competitive rate and a consistent FIFO roster within the mining industry.
The Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs across the site while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.
Key duties include:

• Electrical maintenance and repairs
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Inspection, testing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Working safely in a mining environment
• Following site procedures, permits and safety requirements
• Working collaboratively with other trades and site personnel

• Location: Newman
• Start Date: 23 September 2026
• Roster: 8:6 or 7:7
• Pay Rate: $84.35 per hour
• Mining environment
• FIFO arrangements to be confirmed

About You
To be considered for this position, you will have:

• Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
• Current WA Electrical Licence
• Previous mining or heavy industrial experience
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work FIFO and on a 7:7 or 8:6 roster
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Full Australian working rights
