The Opportunity
We are seeking qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our clients team.This is a permanent role within a stable and continually growing family-owned company. You will be working with varied systems and equipment and will be required to cover different shifts to support operations. Weekend overtime maintenance will also be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Working with varied systems and processing equipment
• Covering different shifts to support production
• Performing weekend overtime maintenance as required

Requirements

• Trade Qualified Electrician
• Experience within a food production environment is highly advantageous, but not essential
• Looking for longevity in a permanent role with career prospects
• Available for shiftwork (morning, afternoon and night shift) on a rotating roster plus weekend overtime
• Team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to work unsupervised
• Willingness to assist other maintenance staff

Preferred Skills

• Installation of electrical equipment and systems
• Advanced fault finding skills
• PLC & SCADA experience and troubleshooting (training provided if necessary)
• EWP and Forklift License, Working at Heights certification
• 4th year apprentices will also be considered
