About the Opportunity

As an Electrician at Kareeya Power Station, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving plant operations. You’ll perform routine and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, inspections, and modifications across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control systems. This is a permanent, site-based role requiring hands-on technical expertise and a strong safety mindset. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and may occasionally travel to other CleanCo sites including Brisbane.

About you

• You are a trade certified electrician with a Queensland Electrical Workers licence or equivalent and offer strengths in problem-solving complex challenges in a similar heavy industry. You are curious and show a genuine eagerness to learn.
• At CleanCo, we value a drive in personal & professional development, so if you have completed further studies and achieved certificate qualifications or experience in areas such as; instrumentation & controls, electrical equipment hazardous areas, high voltage isolation & access or a high-risk work licence, this would be beneficial but we could also provide training in these areas.
• You are naturally collaborative and offer your support to other teams when you can see a need, building strong working relationships both internally and with external contractors.
• You have a growth mindset, identifying opportunities for improvements and efficiencies for processes, systems and ways of work.
• You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of low emission, renewable, reliable and affordable energy for Queensland.
