Electrician

THE OPPORTUNITY 

We are seeking safety and quality conscious Electricians to join our Bathurst team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is your opportunity to work with a safety-focused company while gaining experience in a mining environment. We encourage candidates from across Orange, Bathurst, and surrounding areas, as well as those willing to relocate, to apply.

This is a local role, primarily Monday-Friday with excellent pay and consistent overtime.

In this role, you will: 

• Undertake industrial electrical and instrumentation installations in both Surface and Underground environment 
• Install cable support systems including cable tray, conduit, catenary,
• Install switchgear, junction boxes, MCCs, transformers, VSDs, lighting, and communications equipment.
• Installation and terminations of High voltage, power, communication, instrument and control cables
• Ensure correct earthing, bonding of electrical systems across all installations.
• Carry out quality checks and basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance) during installation.
• Participate in shutdowns and electrical compliance upgrades

ABOUT YOU 

• Must have an excellent attitude to safety.
• The ability to work with a strong emphasis on maintaining our long-term client relationships.
• The ability to work and fit into a great team, whilst also being able to work independently.
• Mining, Industrial, instrumentation and hazardous area experience are highly regarded but not essential.

The successful candidate will have: 

• Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
• Current NSW Electrical License
• High-risk work License (with WP class)
• Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)
• Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
• Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
• White / Blue Construction Card
