We are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Electrician for an opportunity at a Gold Mine, commencing ideally 10 September 2026.
This role offers a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, working day shift only, on an initial 3-month contract with the opportunity to extend.
The Role
Working within a gold mining environment, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance across fixed plant and associated equipment.
Key duties will include:
- Carrying out fixed plant electrical maintenance
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Inspection and testing of electrical equipment
- Identifying and rectifying faults to minimise plant downtime
- Working closely with maintenance and operational teams
- Completing relevant maintenance documentation and reporting
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
To be considered for this role, you will require:
- Relevant electrical trade qualification
- Current electrical licence
- Previous fixed plant maintenance experience – essential
- Previous mining or heavy industrial experience highly regarded
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Current National Police Clearance
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work a 2/2 roster
- Ability to complete all required site and pre-employment requirements
- $80 per hour
- 2/2 roster
