Electrician

We are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Electrician for an opportunity at a Gold Mine, commencing ideally 10 September 2026.
This role offers a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, working day shift only, on an initial 3-month contract with the opportunity to extend.
The Role
Working within a gold mining environment, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance across fixed plant and associated equipment.
Key duties will include:

• Carrying out fixed plant electrical maintenance
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
• Inspection and testing of electrical equipment
• Identifying and rectifying faults to minimise plant downtime
• Working closely with maintenance and operational teams
• Completing relevant maintenance documentation and reporting
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures

What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you will require:

• Relevant electrical trade qualification
• Current electrical licence
• Previous fixed plant maintenance experience – essential
• Previous mining or heavy industrial experience highly regarded
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Current National Police Clearance
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work a 2/2 roster
• Ability to complete all required site and pre-employment requirements
