Electrical Switchboard Fitter

I'm seeking a licensed Electrician with switchboard manufacturing experience to join a well-established manufacturer's Sydney workshop. This role starts on a casual basis with a clear pathway to full-time employment, and offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial, resources, and infrastructure projects, including main switchboards, motor control centres, kiosk substations, transportable switchrooms, and battery energy storage systems.
 
What's on offer:

• $45-$50 per hour + penalties
• Starts casual, transitioning to full-time
• Sydney workshop-based role
• Work across a variety of LV/HV power distribution projects for commercial, resources, and infrastructure clients

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, wire, and terminate low and high voltage switchboards and associated equipment
• Read and work from electrical drawings and schematics
• Fit out switchboards, kiosk substations, and switchrooms to specification
• Install busbars, wiring, and internal componentry
• Test and fault-find completed switchboards prior to dispatch
• Carry out quality checks in line with Australian Standards
• Work as part of a workshop team to meet production schedules
• Follow all workplace safety and quality procedures

Licences/Experience Required:

• Licensed Electrician (current NSW electrical licence)
• Previous switchboard manufacturing/assembly experience essential
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
