Electrical Fitter Mechanic

Are you a skilled Generator Electrician ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a driven Electrical Fitter to join the dynamic team at our client's QLD branch.

As a Generator Electrician, you will tackle a variety of tasks, from field service works to internal workshop projects. Your role will involve electrical expertise, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs to diesel and battery powered equipment.

• Experience in renewable and sustainable power generation preferred.
• Knowledge of generator control systems and diesel engines advantageous.
• Alternator reconfiguration
• AVR setup
• Woodward governor (settings engine speed parameters)
• Toroid installation
• DSE Controller programming
• Panel wiring
• Load testing
• Read drawings (electrical schematics)
• Generator and lighting tower knowledge
• Able to service a generator (change filters/oil etc)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Qualified Electrical Certification & Generator Experience
• Current QLD Electrical Work License
• Current QLD driver's license
• Forklift License desirable
• QLD Electrical contractors’ license preferred
