About the role:
We are seeking motivated and experienced Electrical Fitters to work within the Origin Eraring Maintenance Team. As a key member of the maintenance team, the Mechanical Fitter is responsible for delivering safe, reliable and cost effective maintenance performance and plant reliability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The Electrical Fitter will report to the Maintenance Team leader and;

  • Actively participate in and support the safe execution of maintenance activities, taking a safety first approach
  • Complete maintenance activities scheduled and unscheduled, delivering a quality of work that supports the reliability and availability of the plant
  • Utilise the site CMMS (SAP) to capture all relevant information associated to tasks & work in accordance with the Origin Work Management procedures
  • Create positive and productive relationship through open and clear communication with all stakeholders across the operation
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities that support the ongoing improvement in safety, maintenance & plant performance

 

What will you bring?  

  • Relevant Trade qualifications, an electrical license and relevant post trade experience
  • A commitment to safety and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Alignment to Origin values & willingness to contribute to a great culture and work environment
  • Knowledge and experience of plant, equipment, materials and maintenance methods used in Power Stations or similar heavy industry
  • Previous experience utilising SAP or other CMMS
  • Ability to plan and prioritise daily activities
