About the Role
As an Electrical Fitter you will undertake maintenance activities across a range of Amberley Barracks' defence plant and equipment. Working Monday to Friday, this role is a full-time permanent position working between 7am - 3.45pm with a 12pm early clock off on Fridays.

Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain, service, test and repair field power generators and field power generation plant and equipment
- Maintain, repair and service air conditioning systems
- Maintain, service, test and repair mobile refrigeration units
- Work with computer-controlled diagnostic and management systems
- Refer to circuit diagrams and use meters and test instruments to find electrical faults
- Adjust control systems and timing to ensure plant and equipment are running at peak performance
About you
- Certificate III in Electrical Fitting / Electrotechnology
- QLD Electrical License/tickets relevant to the role
- Current Open Australian driver's license is required
- You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain a Defence security clearance
