Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join Powertech supporting our Malaga, WA office on a Full-Time Permanent Basis.

Reporting to the Electrical Leads
About The Role:
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements and legislative policies.
- Under supervision and guidance, assist with and participate in the commissioning, maintenance and installation of equipment and systems in accordance with business needs.
- Proactively seek opportunities to develop trade skills and knowledge.
- Follow any guidance required to ensure work is performed in accordance with safety, technical and operational specifications and standards.
- Complete required reporting.
- Actively participate in team and safety meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of assuring and continuously improving quality.
- Meet obligations contained in Apprentice Training Contract. Including but not limited to attending block training, complete E profiles/on-the-job log books in a timely manner.
About You:
- Current Resume & Cover Letter
- Two recent work references
- A current working email address – essential
- A current WA Manual Driver's Licence
- Parental Consent (for applicants 18 years and under)
- Copy of any Pre-Vocational / Vocational Certificate courses completed
- Flexibility to work shift work including nights and weekends
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
- Willingness to work on a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) or Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) roster, including extended periods away from home
- Ability to adapt to remote work environments and adhere to site-specific safety and operational protocols
To be successful in gaining an apprenticeship with Powertech you will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn and a passion for the trade. The ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions with a commitment to safety at all times is essential.
