E&I and Leading Hand Electricians – Mining Construction & Commissioning Projects
Location: Western Australia
Roster: 2 weeks on, 1 week off (2:1)
Start Date: Immediate onboarding
Superannuation: 12% on all hours
Employment Type: Full Time Casual - Direct recruitment with the principal project company
FMS Group is seeking experienced E&I Electricians and Leading Hand Electricians to join our high-performance team delivering major mining construction and commissioning projects. The initial construction package involves:
- 800-meter Conveyor Belt Electrical Installation: Installation of electrical systems for an 800-meter conveyor belt.
- HV Terminations: Performing high-voltage terminations.
- Switch Room Commissioning: Commissioning of switch rooms.
- Field Device Installations: Installing field devices.
This opportunity offers direct recruitment with the principal project company and the chance to secure long-term work, with multiple maintenance schedules, construction and commissioning packages available for top-performing candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Provide hands-on expertise and training to team members.
Minimum Requirements
- Trade Qualification: UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
- Leadership Capability: Ability to assume a supervisor’s role as required (S.26 Qualified).
- Availability: Ready to commence onboarding process immediately.
