Role Overview:

As a drill fitter at DRC Drilling, based in Cobar NSW, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and servicing our drilling equipment and machinery. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our drilling activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs, drill bits, and other equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems with drilling machinery.
• Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Assemble, install, and test new equipment and components.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
• Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Drill Fitter with light and heavy experience.         
• Strong knowledge of drilling equipment, machinery, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
• Ability to work with precision tools and equipment.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications
