The Opportunity:

We are looking for several qualified Diesel Fitters / Plant Mechanics with previous experience maintaining mining and/or construction mobile plant to join our Curragh contract.

Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and servicing of PC7000 Excavator, 930E-5 Electric Drive Dump Trucks, and D475 dozers.  

You will support and complete all machine-oriented tasks to enhance and maintain the Komatsu fleet based.  

Roster: 7/7 rotating day and night shift (gate to gate)

Annualised Salary: $178,038.79 + Allowances + Super

Zone Allowance: $200 per week (Blackwater & Emerald residents only) and

Tool Allowance: $20 per week

Role Located: Curragh Coal Mine

What we are looking for:

• Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Certificate is mandatory 
• Strong understanding of heavy mobile plant equipment, particularly PC7000 excavator, D475 dozers, and 930 trucks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently to minimise downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Always adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
• Collaborate with onsite team members to achieve production targets
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
