Rural Mechanical Repairs is located in Charters Towers, only 136km west of Townsville and offers both fully equipped workshop facilities and mobile/onsite repairs. We offer a full range of mechanical servicing, logbook servicing and repairs to all makes and models of cars, body trucks, prime movers, trailers, caravans, machinery and earth moving equipment.
𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞
We are seeking Qualified Diesel Fitters and Motor Mechanics who would like to grow their careers in our family run business. These roles would be permanent full-time positions. We are a small business with 13 staff members who pride ourselves on our quality of workmanship and high standards of customer service.
𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
Lead and supervise apprentices.
Combination of workshop and field service.
Diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles, trucks, trailers, caravans, machinery, earthmoving equipment and fixed and mobile plant.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and develop repair plans.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labour hours.

Current manual drivers license
Trade qualification
Air-con license (highly regarded)
