UGL heavy maintenance facility based in Bassendean, Perth are seeking applications from Heavy Diesel Fitters for engine & component rebuild work.

These positions will be a permanent full-time opportunities working on a dayshift 6.00 am to 2.30 pm.

This role is not suitable for Student or Working Holiday Visa.

 

About the role

  • Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines and heavy machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure machinery is operating efficiently.
  • Document repairs, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and company policies.

 

About You

  • Full Australian unlimited working rights
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines and heavy machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematic.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Relevant trade qualifications and certifications.
  • Valid driver’s license.
