Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Heavy Diesel Fitter for a Workshop AND Field Service role based out of Brisbane. 

The role will be servicing our heavy mobile plant and resurfacing track machines - Plassers.

It will be a split role working swings in NSW when required and working in Brisbane workshop in Wacol, Brisbane QLD when you are not working away.

Job description

Our Heavy Diesel Fitters are responsible for the repair and maintenance of the electrical components of our heavy vehicles and/or plant equipment. They will inspect, diagnose and repair faults, perform routine maintenance and dismantle and reassemble our plants electrical components with DC voltage.

Qualifications and experience required:

Australian-recognised trade Qualification in Diesel Fitting.

5+ years fitting experience, preferably on a variety of Plant & Equipment.

Field service experience

Experience working with hydraulics

Experience with Auto electrical fault finding

Strong focus on safety and quality.

Experience on track machines - Plassers desirable

Heavy vehicle driver’s licence highly regarded.
