BMD GroupWe’re on the hunt for a team of innovative Civil Construction professionals to join our BMD family on the Molonglo River Bridge project in Canberra, ACT.
As the longest weathering steel bridge project on the East Coast, this exciting project involves the construction of a 203 metre-long steel girder bridge, 4 pedestrian underpass bridges, a utilities protection structure using 100 precast planks, 1.7 kilometres of new arterial roads and five new intersections which will transform the region and better connect the growing suburbs of Molonglo and West Belconnen to the rest of Canberra.

Together with our design partners GHD Group, pitt&sherry and COWI, it will be all hands on deck as we deliver the project by 2026 - all that’s missing, is you.

The successful candidate will be;
- Able to follow direction from the site supervisor.
- Operate in a safe manner and adhere to BMD Quality, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
- 2 Years' experience in similar position
You may also have the following additional desirable skills:
- Prior experience in the listed trades
- Current driver’s license
- Current Construction White Card
- The ability to read and interpret plans
- A strong safety focus
- Attention to detail
- A keen focus on achieving productivity outcomes
