Force by Emeco is currently looking for a Component Rebuild Mechanic

for our Mackay Component Rebuild Facility!

The Offer -

• Earn from $55 per hour - Permanent in our Force Rebuilds Workshop!


• Casual contracts available


• 50 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays


• Fortnightly pay cycle

What is your day-to-day going to look like?

• Rebuilding Caterpillar Powertrain Components.


• Using and maintaining workplace tools and equipment.


• Ensuring quality control.


• Compiling reports for internal and external viewing.


• Managing jobs and supporting a small team to meet daily targets.


• Performing maintenance repairs within company guidelines and cost targets.


• Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet.


• Collaborating with Emeco/Force customers to meet company objectives.

What are you bringing to the table?

• Full Australian working rights – no visa sponsorship available.

• Trade Qualified HD Fitters/Mechanics – Australian recognised certifications only


• 2+ years post-trade experience in rebuilding large equipment components.


• Current Australian driver’s licence


• High Risk Work Licence - Forklift or willing to obtain.


• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.


• Excellent time management, job recording, and communication skills.


• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Highly regarded Skills

• Experience with Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems is highly regarded.


• Specialised experience with heavy earth moving equipment, particularly Caterpillar.


• High Risk Work Licence - Dogging, Rigging or Gantry Crane
