Our client is a proudly Western Australian company providing a broad range of Project Management and Engineering solutions across a wide variety of sectors including Defence, Industrial, Mining, Marine, Oil and Gas, and Water and Technology. 

We are currently seeking CNC Machinists for a workshop role based AMC (Australian Marine Complex), Henderson, Perth.

About the role:

  • Workshop role based in HendersonASAP Start
  • Monday - Friday 10hr days
  • Potential for Saturday work
  • On-going role
  • Weekly payroll

Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, your key duties will include;

  • Competency on programming and operating CNC lathes and machining centres.
  • Must have experience programming and operating SIEMENS 828D/840D and Siemens Shopturn language
  • Must come from a jobbing workshop environment.
  • Must be a time served machinist with advanced experience CNC machining. 
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a small team environment.
  • Workshop housekeeping, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Forklift ticket and an overhead crane are desirable.

Must Have:

  • Relevant Trade Certificates
  • Must have Sub Arc experience
  • Workshop experience
  • Relevant experience operating a CNC Machine
