Our client is one of Australia's largest contractors with a focus a major Defence infrastructure projects.
They are looking for Project Engineers to join the team on a FIFO basis from Melbourne.
The project
The $250m package covers a broad civil scope, including pavements, tank works, FRP, earthworks and drainage. It’s a chance to build your civil experience across several disciplines on a high-profile Defence project.
The role
As a Project Engineer, you’ll coordinate the engineering and day-to-day delivery of these packages, working closely with the Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager and wider site team. You’ll be involved in:
- Planning and programme requirements
- Subcontractor coordination
- Quality management
- Technical queries and RFIs
- 2&1 FIFO roster
- 20% uplift
- Flights, Accom, Meals covered
- Exposure to a large-scale Defence project and a broad mix of civil packages
- Pathway to Senior Project Engineer on a project of this size
- Civil construction experience as a Site OR Project Engineer or similar
- Experience in general civil scope: earthworks, drainage, tank works or FRP (not all are essential)
- Strong communication and subcontractor coordination skills
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance
